FAQ’s
How does your service work?
Our most popular “economy” service guarantees collection and delivery of your motorcycle within 7-10 working days. Most of the time it is quicker than this, but every booking varies.
To keep our economy service prices low, we build your booking into a route with other bookings to ensure it remains cost effective for us as a business.
Our Customer Service team will contact both collection and delivery points and provide plenty of notice in regard to when we will be arriving.
If you have specific requirements in relation to dates/timescales, please request a quote for our premium bespoke service
What if I need my bike quicker?
We do offer quicker services when circumstances allow. If you are looking for a “same day” or “Fast track” quote, please request a quote for our premium bespoke service.
How do I pay?
Once we have received the details for your booking, we will email you an invoice for you to pay by bank transfer.
What if I have additional items that need to travel with the bike?
It’s fine for us to carry a few small additional items, but they must be declared at point of booking. Any larger items such as frames or engines may incur additional changes. Move My Bike reserves the right to refuse transport of any additional items that were not declared at point of booking.
Do I need to be at home for collection or delivery of the bike?
Providing we have received written authorisation; we are happy to leave your bike in a secure location or post keys through a letter box. However, if you are not present at the agreed time and no instructions have been left, Move My Bike reserves the right to place the bike in a location of our discretion or abort the delivery without a refund.
Do you inspect bikes for your customers?
If you are buying a bike online, we cannot accept any liability for the mechanical or cosmetic condition of the bike. However, we can check that the bike is the make and model we were expecting and matches the V5. There’s also an option for the driver to give you a call at point of collection to discuss the bike.
What areas do you cover?
We cover all of mainland Wales, England and Scotland. However, if your requirements fall outside of these areas, please contact us as we are part of motorcycle transport network and may be able to recommend another company that suits your needs.
